What do we offer?
In our library you will find a large stock of subject- and study-related books and journals on economics and business administration, current textbooks as well as bachelor's, master's and doctoral theses of our department.
Basically, we are a reference library, i.e. you can only work with the books on-site. However, students of our faculty can borrow up to four books from Friday 2 p.m. to Monday 1 p.m., and even ten books for up to four weeks while writing a thesis. Faculty members and doctoral students have the option to borrow books for four months. No library card is required; students show their student ID and - if writing a bachelor's or master's thesis - a "certificate of registered examinations" generated in BASIS. Doctoral students and faculty members must show identification upon request.
You can also borrow DVD drives, Kensington locks, and calculators for a deposit at our supervisor's desk.
We offer a large reading room with 165 workspaces for concentrated work as well as two bookable group study rooms for up to six people each.
Our services naturally include WLAN at all workspaces, a PC pool, and copying and printing facilities.
Please store backpacks, jackets, and food in the lockers in the Juridicum. You are welcome to bring a small laptop bag and drinks in leak-proof containers.
