The University of Milan1, also known as La Statale (the State University), is the largest public university in Northern Italy with around 65,000 students and one of the largest universities in Europe. Founded in 1924, it is a relatively young university in Italy, yet it can already look back on a history of nearly 100 years. The university offers high-quality education at all academic levels. In the Shanghai Ranking, the University of Milan ranks between 201 and 300.

The Department of Economics, Management, and Quantitative Methods is part of the Faculty of Political, Economic, and Social Sciences. It offers several bachelor's programs, including "Economics: Behavior, Data, and Policy," "Economics and Management," and "International Politics, Law, and Economics." At the master's level, it offers programs such as "Finance and Economics," "Data Science for Economics," and "Economics and Political Science.

Bachelor

The Faculty of Economics, Management, and Quantitative Methods offers various Bachelor degree programs, some of which are taught in English and others in Italian. Students interested in studying in Milan should have good English skills (B2 level) and/or Italian skills (B2 level).

Master

    The Department of Economics, Management, and Quantitative Methods at the University of Milan offers several master's degree programs that are taught in English and Italian. Proficiency in English at the B2 level is required.

    The lecture times at the Faculty of Political, Economic, and Social Sciences are organized into three quarters. In the academic year 2024/25, the following dates apply:
