16th Manchot Lecture: Eradicating Harmful Norms
The Bonn Graduate School of Economics (BGSE) cordially invites you to the 16th Manchot Lecture given by Professor Eliana La Ferrara (Invernizzi Chair in Development Economics, Università Bocconi, Milan) on the topic "Eradicating Harmful Norms".
Eliana La Ferrara's research is in development economics, with a particular focus on ethnicity, social norms, institutions and the media. She holds the Fondazione Romeo ed Enrica Invernizzi Chair in Development Economics at the Bocconi University in Milan.
The lecture will continue the renowned Manchot Lecture Series, an annual event to which the BGSE invites outstanding researchers to Bonn. The Manchot Lecture is open to the public and addresses a general audience interested in economic research. Registration is not required. Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it will be mandatory to wear a face mask (medical or FFP2) in the entire venue building, also during the seated lecture.
