Prof. Dr. Teodora Boneva received her PhD from the University of Cambridge in 2015. Before joining the University of Bonn she was Assistant Professor at the University of Zurich and Associate Professor at the University of Oxford.
Boneva's primary fields of research are labor economics and education economics. Her research focuses on the role of beliefs in human capital investment decisions and the role of interventions in narrowing socioeconomic gaps in achievement. More recently, Boneva has also worked on the labor market impacts of the COVID19 pandemic.
Boneva has taught Labor Economics, Behavioral Economics and Econometrics. At the University of Bonn, she will be teaching courses on the topic of inequality.
