In the central university, the Career Service is at your disposal with various offers
Besides its Karriere-Sprechstunde (held in German), the Career Service at the University of Bonn also offers brief career consultations geared specifically to international students. These Career Service Appointments will be conducted in English and will focus on getting into the German job market.
25-minute counseling sessions with information, tips and advice on the topics of career orientation and starting a career.
In addition to the Career Consultation, the Career Service offers orientation counseling on career entry, brief coaching on career planning, an application portfolio check and also one-on-one interview training. Please note: There are only limited places available. Registration at the beginning of each semester.
The Career Service offers free workshops on career orientation and application strategies (written application, interview, self-marketing, assessment center training).
Every year on the first Wednesday in December, the Career Service invites you to the Career Day as part of the Dies Academicus. Unlike the Career Day of the Faculty of Law and Economics, this is not a day on which employers present themselves. Instead, interested parties can obtain information on the topics of career orientation, career planning and application procedures in lectures, individual consultations and at counseling booths.
